The New York State Consumer Protection Board (CPB) advocates for New York consumers and advances policy recommendations and legislation to the Governor and other policy makers.

Surveys and Campaigns

Energy and Utility Intervention
The CPB is the sole agency to appear on behalf of consumers before the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO). The CPB's focus is on ensuring that utilities provide cost effective and quality service.
