Welcome to the website of the New York State Consumer Protection Board (CPB). Through programs, educational outreach, legislation and mediation, the CPB is advocating for and empowering New York consumers. We are glad you are an engaged consumer interested in learning about various consumer issues. Your activism will indeed help you make informed marketplace decisions and avoid scam victimization.
