Press Conference announcing State actions on recalled toys:
The Consumer Protection Board is asking
toy-maker Mattel Inc. to make it easier for
consumers to return unsafe toys.
- The CPB thinks consumers should be given
a better deal by letting them bring a
recalled toy back to the store where it was
purchased and to receive a full cash refund.
If you want to add your voice,
please send this letter to Mattel.
- With your voice, we can try to prevent
the distribution of dangerous toys and the
upset that would be caused by another mass
recall. Use this
letter to
urge the Toy Industry Association to
take steps to improve the quality and safety
of toys.
The CPB is working to help make it easier for consumers to identify if they
do indeed have questionable products in their home.
